EarthxTV, an independent television network, on Aug. 8 announced three series renewals: “Wild Wonders With Brooke,” “Defenders of the Wild” and “Ocean Wonders.”

The three series will launch on the network in 2023 and 2024 in the United States, the United Kingdom, Europe and Mexico. EarthxTV launched in 2022 and is now available in more than 50 million homes and carried on DirecTV, AT&T U-Verse, Charter’s Spectrum TV, FuboTV, and on a growing list of regional cable channels in the U.S., Sky, and Freeview in the U.K., M7 in Europe, Claro video and TotalPlay in Mexico.

“The growing success of EarthxTV is built in partnership with the talented series producers, hosts, and personalities on our air,” said Dan Russell, CEO of EarthxTV. “These accomplished individuals have dedicated their lives to using entertainment to spotlight the need for conservation, and we’re thrilled to bring these amazing series back for additional seasons. As we continue to bring audiences a slate of must-watch series, it’s gratifying to know we have three amazing personalities our audiences love who will have a prominent place on our schedule.”

  • “Wild Wonders with Brooke” (December 2023, all territories) spotlights 12-year-old conservationist Brooke Carter, who has devoted her life to safeguarding animals and encouraging audiences to actively participate in animal conservation. Currently in production in South Africa and other locations around the globe, the third season will air on EarthxTV later this summer.
  • “Defenders of the Wild” (October 2023, all territories) is an adventure series with Ivan Carter, who works with experts to implement solutions for a balanced wildlife ecosystem. This season, he ventures to a traditional medicine market, seeing firsthand the animals used in the trade, and explores the complexities of the traditional African tribal medicine industry. He also travels to Australia to study the Tasmanian devil and to the U.S. to work with hound teams trained to track and capture black bears. The series is produced by the Conservation Film Co.
  • “Ocean Wonders” (early 2024, U.S. only) explores the superpowers of ocean creatures and how they survive and thrive in their watery world. The series is hosted by Tom “Blowfish” Hird, who explores the mysteries and busts the misconceptions of the creatures that live in our oceans. Blowfish takes audiences from the shallows of the shoreline to the deepest ocean trench, and in every episode he uses his signature scientific stunts to demonstrate how these animals work. The series is produced by Off the Fence and EarthxTV.
