Nielsen: ‘Suits’ Takes Record Seventh Week Atop Household TV Streaming

Former USA Network drama series “Suits” shows no sign of slowing its appeal among household television streamers. The show, which last aired in primetime in 2019, and co-stars co-stars Meghan Markle before she quit acting to marry Prince Harry and become the Duchess of Sussex, generated another 3.2 billion minutes across 135 licensed episodes among the top 10 weekly streamed content through Aug. 6, according to new data from Nielsen.

The media ratings firms says the series has now generated 23.5 billion combined minutes (on the Netflix, Peacock streaming platforms) in its seventh week as the No. 1 streamed content on U.S. household televisions. Last week “Suits” topped Netflix original series “Wednesday” for the most streamed minutes after six weeks of release.

“Suits” again held off the Netflix original series “The Lincoln Lawyer” with 1.7 billion minutes streamed across 20 episodes. Marvel Studios’ Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 on Disney+ added 1.62 billion minutes to round out the podium.
