Super Bowl LIX Posts Record TV Viewership With Tubi Live-Streaming
February 10, 2025
Despite Philadelphia Eagles’ Feb. 9 blowout win over the Kansas City Chiefs in Super Bowl LIX, set a projected record 126 million television viewers across Fox Sports, Fox Deportes, Tubi, Telemundo and NFL+, according to Fox and initial Nielsen tracking.
The 2.3 million viewership uptick from last year’s Super Bowl LVIII was in part due to the annual event live-streaming for the first time on Fox’s free ad-supported Tubi streaming service.
Indeed, Tubi generated 13.6 million viewers, while overall digital viewers averaged 14.5 million viewers.
Viewership reportedly maxed out at 135.7 million viewers ahead of the halftime performance by rapper Kendrick Lamar.
While the last three Super Bowls have set record TV viewership, Super Bowl LIX was the most-streamed TV event since the 1969 Apollo Moon landing.
