Disney+’s “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law” topped the Whip Media chart of streaming originals, while Werewolf by Night, also streaming on Disney+, led the chart of streaming movies among U.S. consumers the week ended Oct. 9.
The Marvel Comics-based series “She-Hulk: Attorney at Law,” which began streaming on Disney+ in weekly episodes Aug. 18, follows a lawyer who also becomes a superhero and is then hired to specialize in cases involving superhumans.
Another Marvel program, Werewolf by Night, debuted Oct. 7 on Disney+. The movie follows a group of monster hunters competing for a powerful relic.

Remaining at No. 2 on the streaming originals chart was Prime Video’s “The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power,” which started streaming Sept. 1. Dubbed the most-expensive TV season ever with a production budget of $715 million, the fantasy series is based on the books by J.R.R. Tolkien and is set thousands of years before The Hobbit.
Remaining at No. 3 on the chart was Disney+’s “Andor,” the latest series from the “Star Wars” universe. A prequel to the “Star Wars” spin-off movie Rogue One, the series follows thief-turned-Rebel spy Cassian Andor during the five years leading up to the events of the film.
Disney+’s Hocus Pocus 2 dropped from the top spot to No. 2 on the streaming movies chart, with its predecessor Hocus Pocus, also streaming on Disney+, falling from No. 2 to No. 7 on the chart. The sequel to the 1993 classic finds the three witches, played by Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy and Sarah Jessica Parker, brought back to modern day Salem by two young women who must stop them from wreaking havoc.
Landing at No. 3 on the streaming movies chart was another Halloween friendly title, the horror film Hellraiser, which began streaming on Hulu Oct. 7. It’s a reboot of the film franchise about a puzzle box that opens a portal to hell.
